Planificación estratégica para el Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado Parroquial rural de San Juan, cantón Riobamba, provincia de Chimborazo, período 2018-2022

Abstract

The present reseach is to develop a strategic plan for the Autonomous Decentralized Parochial Rural Government of San Juan, Canton Riobamba, province of Chimborazo, period 2018-2022. For the improvement of its processes and an efficient development in the administrative management. For its elaboration, the strategic diagnosis began with which the current situation of the institution was known, thus allowing the formulation of the SWOT matrix, where the strong and weak points of it were identified. Data collection techniques and instruments were applied, such as: an interview with the president of the parish ADG and surveys directed at the personnel involved. It was determined that the institution does not have a clearly defined schedule of activities, strategies, mission and vision for the fulfillment of its objectives. With the results obtained, the Strategic Plan was elaborated in order to provide a useful and simple tool; proposing strategic objectives achievable and measurable over time. Therefore, the implementation of the current proposal is recommended since it will help to achieve the goals stated, and then adequate decision making for the benefit of the parish.
