Creación de la Empresa Municipal de Agua Potable del cantón Alausí, provincia de Chimborazo

Abstract

PROPOSAL FOR THE CREATION OF MUNICIPAL PUBLIC COMPANY OF WATER IN CANTON ALAUSÍ, (Parish Matrix) – CHIMBORAZO PROVINCE. This research is done motivated to implement the knowledge acquired during the Engineering management of Regional Governments. The problem is the poor quality of drinking water in the CantónAlausí. Thus, the autonomous government of the Canton in study, which is a public entity with administrative and financial autonomy of their own, who is responsible for providing quality basic services to the citizens of its jurisdiction has the aims to design the proposal for the creation of this Company. The methodology used in this study is an analysis and interpretation of results of surveys of citizens. This study also contains the steps, diagnosis of the current situation of supply and demand indices proposing the creation of a public company that is devoted exclusively to drink water in the Canton Alausí, Parish Matrix. It will allow and adequate service with a system of collection, distribution and commercialization of water according to need. As a result, it was determined that the municipal water service is considerably poorer and the need to improve the service. Recommendations; the creation of the Municipal Public Company in Alausí, drinking water will allow efficient administration assured the proper marketing and fair pay with drinking water. Conclusion: This research will contribute to improving the quality of life and development of Canton Alausí.
