Propuesta para la creación de un centro agro turístico, para la Asociación el “Triunfo” en el cantón Francisco de Orellana, provincia de Orellana

Abstract

The present degree work is the “Proposal for the creation of the Agro Touristic Center for the Asociation “El Triunfo” in the county Francisco de Orellana, Province de Orellana. A social, economic, and touristic diagnosis were made. The methods such as: inductive, deductive, and analytic were used by means of the compiling process, analysis and interpretation of the qualitative and quantitative data interpretation. A market and technical, legal, organizational, and financial studies were performed. In the market study, surveys were applied to local, national, and foreing tourist, where the need to impulse the agro tourist activity is evident. The technical study defined products according to the consumer needs. In the legal and organizational study, the organizational structure was established. Finally, in the financial study, the projections to 5 years were elaborated and the required investment is $245,500.00, the CNV (Current Net Value) was determined and equal to $224,656.32. This means that the project will be able to recover the investors. The ratio Benefit Cost will give as a result: a ratio of 1.92 which means that per each dollar that is invested, 0,92 additional dollars were invested of benefit. The IRR (Internal Rate of Return) is equal to 32, 84%. In conclusion, the project is feasible according to the economic and financial point of view.
