Auditoría de seguridad vial enfocado en la infraestructura en la red concesionada E35 desde el Km 428 (Tuntatacto) hasta el Km 445 (Panamericana Norte), provincia de Chimborazo

Abstract

This degree work “ Audit of Road safety” is focused on infrastructure in the E35 concession network from abscissa 428 (Tuntatacto) to abscissa 445 (Panamericana Norte and Manabí street), Chimborazo province; aims to determine the relationship between road infrastructure and traffic accidents through visual analysis. For the investigation the qualitative-quantitative modality was used with checklists that contain the following elements: alignment and cross-section, intersections, lighting, vertical signage, horizontal signage, lateral zone and containment barriers, pavements, heavy vehicle infrastructure, causes of water and floods, pedestrian infrastructure, in the same modality surveys were carried out to the inhabitants for Tuntatacto, San Pablo, San Andrés, Santa Ana; Santa Anita parishes and interviews directed to different authorities of the San Andrés Parish Decentralized Autonomous Government, are finding 13 black points and identifying the different problems according to the point of view of the drivers and pedestrians in order to determine changes in the infrastructure that are based on Ecuadorian Road Standard 12 and the Ecuadorian Technical Regulation of horizontal and vertical signage. Immediate changes in infrastructure and geometric design are recommended in the 13 black spots. Determined in the E35 concessioned primary network.
