Proyecto para la creación del parqueo tarifado para el GAD Municipal de San Pedro de Pelileo, provincia de Tungurahua

Abstract

The present research work is the Project for the Creation of Tariff Parking for the Municipal GAD of San Pedro de Pelileo, Tungurahua Province, which aims to diagnose the use of public space granted to the parking area, and have a smooth flow of traffic vehicular and pedestrian safety, managing to meet the needs of people. The proposal is developed for the implementation of the rotary parking system and pricing, established according to the needs of the users of the canton, with the orders and rules of parking policies published by the Institute of Transportation and Development, more than one survey conducted to the users of the system as the main tool in this study, in order to determine the current situation and propose the implementation of the tariff parking project in the San Pedro de Pelileo canton. Where the results of the surveys show that there is a need for a parking fee, so that 78% of the citizens who conducted the respective surveys show a good initiative in generating order and vehicle safety by establishing that the project is carried out and the 22% of the citizens do not agree on solutions, thus generating an economic expense, improving the system and efficiently transforming it for the city, contacting a reliable service and according to the needs of the users, taking into account the parameters of the supply adequate to the demand that is had. It is recommended to carry out market studies, technical study, administrative study, legal study and financial study, to demonstrate the viability of the project; therefore, the project must be implemented, and follow the parameters established in each of the stages, to avoid alterations of a professional nature that limit the achievement and the correct progress of the project in the execution phase.
