Proyecto de inversión para la ampliación y remodelación del Restaurante “Mi Sol” ubicado en el cantón Guamote, provincia de Chimborazo

Abstract

This research is intended to develop The Restaurant “Mi Sol” Enlargement and Remodeling Project in Guamote from Chimborazo province in order to improve its competitiveness level as well as to satisfy the restaurant customer needs. In the aim of this research, the corresponding marketing study was carried out in order to determine the current unsatisfied market demand for the restaurant service accounting for 3.5 %, which is the project target during the first year of its implementation. This project development lay on financing by a credit, thus the necessary technical, legal, economical and financial studies were carried to ensure the project viability, and thus the project economic ratability was technically demonstrated by the financial and economic evaluation in regarding the Internal Rate of Return (TIR) which accounts for 34% and the Investment Recovery Time (PRI) accounting for three years and ten months. The implementation of this project allowed to the restaurant not only to improve its service by diversifying the dishes and food but also to rise its sell rates from taking advantages of the Guamote market demand where the restaurant “Mi Sol” is located. Therefore, it is advisable for the restaurant “Mi Sol” owners to execute this project since its viability has technically been demonstrated not only in the legal area but also in the economic, productive and operational area.
