Levantamiento de procesos y procedimientos de la Escuela Superior Politécnica de Chimborazo, en el ámbito facultades y sedes

Abstract

The information gathering of processes and procedures at the ESCUELA SUPERIOR POLITECNICA DE CHIMBORAZO within: Faculties and Headquarters, Riobamba canton, Chimborazo Province, in order to improve the level of internal efficiency of academic and administrative management, according to the current legal regulation, which will contribute to the optimization of institutional processes, through resolution of Polytechnic Council number 150.CP.2019 on March 22, 2019. For the qualitative, quantitative approach, inductive method and type of descriptive research was used for this research , making emphasis on the requirement of the institution, according to the demand of the Council on Higher Education (CES with its Spanish acronym ), in addition, techniques and instruments of primary information collection were used to strengthen scientific research, it was determined that they did not have the processes and procedures identified or documented generating inefficiency in the management like; undefined times, process delays, bottlenecks, deficit in document management. The results obtained were able to decide that the agility of the documentation is inefficient and the processes do not have defined times. The proposal revolves around process management, through the elaboration of a process management structure, process map, value chain, flow charts and procedure sheets, to improve the performance of the institution's internal management. It is concluded that the lifting of processes and procedures grants benefits the institution in the fulfillment of the strategic objectives, to the public servers in the job performance, internal and external clients in the response times of the academic and administrative processes. It is recommended to prepare the manual of processes and procedures as additional work, in orden to improve the internal institutional management and provide an internal control tool of the Faculties and Headquarters to the ESCUELA SUPERIOR POLITECNICA DE CHIMBORAZO.
