dc.descriptionEl objetivo principal de este estudio fue estandarizar las restricciones de dosis locales para el POE comparando resultados de dosimetría TLD y electrónica en las Unidades Técnicas de PET CICLOTRON y Medicina Nuclear en el Hospital de Especialidades Carlos Andrade Marín. Para ello se realizó un análisis estadístico del historial dosimétrico del POE en cada unidad mencionada, donde, se clasificó los historiales de la dosimetría electrónica Hp (10) de cada POE, verificando el factor de calibración de cada dosímetro utilizado, el valor de la suma diaria y mensual de dosis; y de la dosimetría TLD Hp (10) y Hp (0,07), comprobando el periodo de lectura, el código del dosímetro y el valor de dosis de cada POE. Se transcribió los valores de dosis de cada historial en físico a Excel obteniendo una base de datos de trabajo en digital de la dosimetría electrónica Hp (10), TLD Hp (10) y TLD Hp (0,07), esta contenía valores de dosis bimensuales del POE en cada año con su respectivo estamento profesional, y su unidad en mSv. Para el análisis estadístico se utilizó el programa OriginLab, en donde se realizó una estadística descriptiva obteniendo una tabla sintetizada para cada estamento profesional con el promedio, el valor mínimo, la mediana, el valor máximo, y la moda de la tabla de frecuencias, posteriormente, se procedió a obtener las restricciones de dosis bimensual, y con el promedio de estas se obtuvo la restricción de dosis anual específicas para cada estamento profesional del POE. Además, se realizaron comparaciones entre la dosimetría TLD y Electrónica, y las restricciones de dosis anuales con los límites de dosis recomendados por organismos internacionales. Se concluye que las restricciones de dosis locales bimensuales y anuales son valores aplicables a la práctica y que ayudan a la optimización de la exposición del POE, se recomienda aprovechar las restricciones de dosis locales para dar cumplimiento a los requisitos de Seguridad y Protección Radiológica.es_ES
dc.description.abstractThe main aim of this study was to standardize local dose restrictions for OEP by comparing TLD and electronic dosimetry results of the PET CICLOTRON and Nuclear Medicine Technical Units at the Carlos Andrade Marín Specialty Hospital. For this, a statistical analysis of the OEP dosimetric history was performed in each unit mentioned, where, the histories of the electronic dosimetry Hp (10) of each OEP were classified, verifying the calibration factor of each dosimeter used, the value of the daily and monthly sum of doses; and the TLD Hp (10) and Hp (0,07) dosimetry, checking the reading period, the dosimeter code and the dose value of each OEP. The dose values of each physical history were transcribed to Excel in order to obtain a digital working database of the electronic dosimetry Hp (10), TLD Hp (10) and TLD Hp (0,07), this contained bimonthly dose values of the OEP in each year with its respective professional status, and its unit in mSv. For the statistical analysis, the OriginLab program was used, where a descriptive statistic was performed to obtain a synthesized table for each professional estate within the average, the minimum value, the median, the maximum value, and the frequency table mode, subsequently, the bimonthly dose restrictions were obtained, and with the average of these, the specific annual dose restriction was obtained for each OEP professional status. In addition, comparisons were made between the TLD an Electronic dosimetry, and the annual dose restrictions with the dose limits recommended by international organizations with the dose limits recommended by international organizations. It is concluded that the bimonthly and annual local dose restrictions are values applicable to the practice and may help to optimize the OEP exposure, it is recommended to take advantage of the local dose restrictions to comply with the Radiation Protection and Safety requirements.es_ES
