Sistema de gestión de riesgos laborales basado en la norma ISO 45001:2018 para la Empresa Pública EP-EMPROVIAL del Gobierno Provincial de Orellana

Abstract

In this technical work, an occupational risk management system was designed based on the ISO 45001:2018 Standard for the EP-EMPROVIAL Public Company from Provincial Government of Orellana which aimed to determine the situational analysis of the company in relation to occupational health and safety, identify the hazards as well as evaluate the risks associated with the work activities carried out at EP-EMPROVIAL. The project started with a situational analysis study, using two checklists to determine the percentage of compliance in relation to the ISO 45001:2018 Standard and the inspection format for 10 and more workers, by means of which 41% and 55.55% respectively were determined. Thus, since this is one of the requirements established by the international standard, the hazards were identified and the risks evaluated using the matrix of the Colombian technical guide GTC 45, finding a total of 17 acceptable risks, 157 improvable, 94 acceptable with control, and 17 unacceptable, obtaining as a result that one of the most risky positions is the asphalt plant assistant; consequently, an action plan was drawn up in the matrix, indicating the corrective and preventive measures to control the risks and provide better workplaces, taking into account the safety and health of the workers. Finally, the occupational risk management system was designed by generating the basic documentation required by ISO 45001:2018, each guideline is shown in the present document. It is recommended that the necessary resources and time be made available for the implementation of the management system, promoting a culture of prevention and correctly managing occupational risks in EP-EMPROVIAL.
