Análisis del mecanismo de desgaste en pastillas de freno de material compuesto en vehículos utilitarios

Abstract

This technical project of curricular integration: "Analysis of the mechanism of wear in brake pads of composite material in utility vehicles" was developed through research to the different scientific articles, found in databases certified online. For the correct methodology, a considerable number of scientific articles were selected that have agreement with the topic to be studied, databases such as Scopus, Web of Science and Dialnet that have scientific information on engineering and related were used. Then a categorization was made with the extracted articles and a small number was extracted to then extract important information about their methodology, equipment, materials, coefficient of friction and wear mechanisms. Then brief information was extracted from the references of the scientific articles with greater categorization to obtain a high quality with respect to their references. Finally, a comparison was made in these scientific articles to get an idea that it varies in each study from one scientific article to the other. The results of the study were obtained by making simple graphs showing data referring to the H-Factor, SJR indicator and quartiles on the Scimago Journal & Country Rank website, a graph was also made about the countries in which these scientific articles were published to have a clear idea of which are those that carry out research on materials and methods to analyze the wear of brake pads in utility vehicles. It is concluded that this work of curricular integration contributes to the search for information regarding the mechanisms of wear in utility vehicles and the materials used in brake pads. Further research is recommended with other types of materials additive to brake pads.
