Identificación de riesgos y gestión preventiva de accidentes laborales en el camal del Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado Municipal del cantón Salcedo

Abstract

The objective of this degree project entitled: " Identificación de Riesgos y Gestión Preventiva de Accidentes Laborales en el Camal del Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado Municipal del Cantón Salcedo ", was to optimize working conditions in terms of health and industrial safety, to protect the physical and emotional integrity of employees. It began with a diagnosis and determination of the current situation by means of an on-site inspection at the municipal slaughterhouse, then the risk factors were identified by means of an INSHT risk matrix by job positions, identifying the different factors and types of risks existing in all the work areas where the risks identified were: 33 biological risks, 24 mechanical risks, 13 physical risks and 2 ergonomic risks. An occupational risk and accident mitigation plan was developed, ending with the preparation of an emergency and contingency plan for the entity, and it was found that there are four types of risk, the most latent of which is biological, and there is also a lack of implementation such as equipment and signage in the animal house. For this reason, it is suggested to apply lectures, training and the proper use of equipment and tools according to the work area, for risk prevention on an ongoing basis and obtain an optimal working environment and preserve the physical and psychological integrity of workers.
