Diseño de un plan integral de seguridad y salud en el trabajo para el Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado del cantón Mocha

Abstract

This work is based on the design of a comprehensive occupational health and safety plan for the Decentralized Autonomous Government of Mocha Canton, in order to identify and evaluate risks associated with the activities performed in the different jobs of the institution, as well as to describe the activities or measures to be implemented for their prevention and control. The identification and evaluation of risks was carried out through the application of the NTP 330 standard and the risk matrix by workstations, where the level of deficiency, exposure and consequence for the risk factors present were considered, thus calculating the level of risk and determining the level of intervention. In addition, through the application of the MESERI method, a fire risk assessment was performed, where the existing risk level in the main building and warehouse of the institution was determined. With the estimation of the risks it was obtained as a result that 19% of the risks correspond to an intervention level III, where it is suggested to improve if it is possible, 50% belong to an intervention level II, i.e. it is necessary to correct and adopt control measures, and 31% corresponds to risks with an intervention level I, meaning a critical situation that requires immediate correction, so the integral plan of safety and health at work was developed, where the prevention and control measures that should be adopted in the institution were established. This work was developed to guarantee the wellbeing of the personnel, providing safe working conditions and complying with current regulations. It is recommended the immediate application of this document, developed based on the needs of the human talent of the institution.
