Importancia del uso del software contable en la gestión administrativa de microempresas del cantón Morona

Abstract

The purpose of the research was to determine the importance of the use of accounting software in the improvement of administrative-accounting management in micro-enterprises located in Morona County. The theoretical framework of administrative management and the use of accounting software were initially developed in order to carry out the study. Methodologically, the research was descriptive correlational through a diagnosis of an accounting software and its relationship with administrative management applying physical and digital questionnaires to forty owners of micro-enterprises. It asked about the forms of accounting records they use, benefits of software, identification of technological needs, economic activity, and time on the market, constitution of the micro-enterprise, and other related topics. As result, the 32.5% of the microenterprises have accounting software and the management is efficient, while the remaining percentage shows deficiencies in the accounting record that is done manually or does not exist. In conclusion, the use of the technological resource allows an adequate management about accounting of a micro-enterprise and the improvement of the administrative management, being useful for a correct decision-making. Finally, it recommends to owners of micro-businesses to make this investment for the organization of their activities in general.
