Plan de salvaguardia del Patrimonio Cultural Inmaterial relacionado con el capulí (Prunus serotina), parroquias San Andrés y Salasaca, cantones Guano y Pelileo, provincias Chimborazo y Tungurahua.

Abstract

The present research aims to design a safeguarding plan of intangible cultural heritage related to Capulí(Prunus serotina) in San Andrés and Salasaca villages from Guano and Pelileo Cantons in Chimborazo and Tungurahua provinces. The Intangible Cultural Heritage related to the Capulí was recorded using the Methodological Guide to safeguard the Intangible Cultural Heritage, so the workshops were coordinated, the information was collected through audios and photographs; Then it was analyzed, classified, and systematized the information on the sheet of National Institute of Cultural Heritage. On other hand, the intangible cultural heritage of Capulí was diagnosed which was given a rating to each opinion, also the risk assessment of intangible cultural heritage was used by determining indicators, variables, and criteria. To structure the safeguard plan, the problems were analyzed and the risks which the demonstrations were exposed, For this the SWOT matrix was used, due to prioritizing critical knots and key factors of success to integrate the analysis involved. The results found were 13 demonstrations registered between the two villages, 8 demonstrations that represent 62% belong to the vulnerable manifestations, followed by the vulnerable manifestations with 3 demonstrations representing 23% and 15% to the values in force of the report, with two manifestations. To sum the Safeguard Plan of San Andrés Village is proposed 6 programs with 10 projects, with an investment of $ 15933, while in the Salasaca village, 5 programs were determined with 6 projects, with an investment of $ 8,328.50, which It will allow strengthening cultural memory, identity aspects and local development in the villages.
