Análisis del potencial turístico de la parroquia San José de Payamino cantón Loreto, provincia de Orellana.

Abstract

The objective of this research project is to inventory and evaluate the tourist attractions of the San José de Payamino parish, in order to determine the degree of tourist potential; therefore, a study model based on observational and non-experimental research was established, and in the same way, help to carry out the inventory of the natural and cultural attractions of each tourist center; through the registration cards and inventory of goods of the National Institute of Cultural Heritage (INPC), and the survey card of tourist attractions of the Ministry of Tourism, for the corresponding quantification of the parish. In this way, we were able to identify the tourism potential of the parish. Each of the factors involved in the provision of tourism services, such as infrastructure, superstructure, tourists, etc., were evaluated. Then, we proceeded to rank the natural and cultural attractions through the evaluation of the attractions and determined strategies how to advertise, with the objective of directing the tourists well. Finally, a proposal has been made to establish strategies that allow the establishment of solutions to the different problems identified in each of the tourist centers of the parish of San José de Payamino; solutions that can be short term but that the results can be kept under constant control. It is concluded through the realization of this work, that the action of inventorying through the use of technical cards not only allowed the identification of the tourist potential of the parish, but also helped the parish to quantify its natural and cultural attractions. It is recommended the use of techniques such as quantification and hierarchization cards, allowing for optimal decision making and adequate control of the data, thus making the work feasible.
