Influencia de la violencia en la salud de las mujeres de la parroquia Punín, provincia de Chimborazo, período enero - marzo 2019

Abstract

The present investigative work was carried out with the objetive of Analyzing the influence of violence on the health of women of the Punín Parish, Province of Chimborazo, January – March 2019. The study is descriptive of cross section, the population was of 80 women, ranging in age from 25 to 60; In addition, a survey was designed and validated to identify the types and consequences of violence in women in that community. The most relevant results indicate that the type of violence with greater occurrence is at the physical level, marked by 45% followed by identification that domestic or domestic violence also presents a significant percentage with 39%. As for the place of occurrence, public spaces have a higher incidence with 80%. Also on the consent to have sexual relations it was evidenced that most of them have privacy without prior consent, which is why they have suffered health problems, with a higher percentage, infections (75%); In the same way, the most obvious symptoms after suffering abuse are: lack of energy, demotivation for carrying out daily activities, emotional lability. We can conclude that the results show that there is a high percentage of violence that affects both physical and psychological levels, generating repercussions both at the individual and community level. Therefore, on this research an educational intervention guide was designed don the influence of violence on women´s health, seeking to raise awareness among the entire community and women who suffer or have suffer or have suffered violence, promoting human rights and that these are Respected.
