“Plan de negocios para la creación de una sucursal de ferrertería “Districons” en la ciudad de Salcedo, provincia de Cotopaxi”

Abstract

The objective of this Curricular Integration Work was to elaborate a business plan for the creation of a branch of the hardware store DISTRICONS in the city of Salcedo, province of Cotopaxi, following a methodology based on a mixed approach since the research has qualitative and quantitative information. It is of applied and field type, carried out through the deductive-inductive method and for this I have used techniques such as the interview and survey each with its instruments such as the questionnaire and the interview guide, with this we proceeded to conduct an interview with the manager of the hardware store DISTRICONS, after that the due sampling was performed to its target population with a margin of error of 5% giving as a sample 382 people to survey, being these the potential customers of this city, especially to builders and public works that are presented there, thus obtaining the relevant results that were of utmost importance to obtain their supply and demand, the same that were used to make the corresponding calculations, and projections of the same, with the development of the financial evaluation of this project was obtained as a result, a positive net present value of $183. 684.33, an Internal Rate of Return of 83%, an Investment Recovery Period of 11 months, and a Break-even Point of $ 10. 184.21 for the first year, the cost-benefit ratio is considered a value of $1.27 which indicates that for every dollar invested a profit of 0.27 cents is generated, which will help to increase the profitability of the hardware store, through the studies conducted in this Curricular Integration Work, the feasibility of the same is concluded, being favorable for DISTRICONS, and the revitalization of the economy of the city of Salcedo.
