Gestión de seguridad y salud ocupacional aplicando la Norma ISO 45001:2018 en la Empresa ICOPLAST de la ciudad de Riobamba

Abstract

The objective of this technical work was the design of an occupational health and safety management system applying the ISO 45001:2018 standard at the ICOPLAST company in the city of Riobamba in order to identify risk factors, eliminate hazards and reduce risks. labor. It began with the phase of the bibliographic review of documents that are based on the ISO 45001:2018 standard, as well as the review of decrees and national laws in the field of worker safety, followed by the phase of the level of compliance with the requirements and the checklist of the standard was made, later the Colombian technical guide GTC 45 and the matrix were applied to identify hazards and assess risks in the company. Finally, the occupational health and safety management system manual was designed for the ICOPLAST company based on the standard. As a result of the analysis of the level of compliance with the requirements of the ISO 45001:2018 standard, 45% compliance and 55% non-compliance were determined respectively, in the risk assessment with the GTC-45 methodology, 47 risks were determined in the company of which 10 can be improved, 34 are acceptable risks with control measures and 3 are unacceptable risks. It is concluded that the SG-SS manual and documents were made following the recommendations of the standard and the proposed occupational health and safety management system is a base of the first version; to be implemented and subsequently must be reviewed, verified and complemented. It was recommended to complement other safe procedures in the production and management departments, such as the periodic updating of the proposed manual documents.
