Modelado 3d de la mina Divino Niño de Jesús y proyección mineral de filones cuarzo auríferos mediante el uso de software libre en la concesión San Sebastián II ubicada en el cantón Camilo Ponce Enríquez sector río Villa.

Abstract

This project consisted of modeling the Divino Niño de Jesús mine in three dimensions and projecting the gold-bearing quartz vein using the freely licensed mining software RECMIN. For the development of this modeling two approaches were used: a quantitative approach, that was based on the collection of spatial data in situ, through the topographic survey of the subway workings using methods, techniques and instruments as support; where the information obtained in the field was tabulated in the Microsoft Excel package and imported into the RECMIN mining software, that served as a tool to design the three-dimensional model. On the other hand, the qualitative approach, focused on the interpretation of the three-dimensional model, obtained with the georeferenced representation of the subway deposit. As results, topographic plans, sections of mine workings, modeling of topographic surveys and the representation of the mineralized body through projections were obtained, also, considering the information provided by the model, a planning of drilling and blasting costs in an exploration drift was carried out. In conclusion, the 3D Model represented in a georeferenced digital form the Divino Niño de Jesús Mine, allowing to observe to scale the subway workings of the mine and the mineralized vein; in this way, it is recommended to implement this modeling with free software, when being an autonomous profesional or in companies that have a tight budget for the purchase of commercial software.
