Aplicación del software Mathematica para el mejoramiento de enseñanza-aprendizaje a los docentes de matemáticas del bachillerato del año lectivo 2021-2022, en el Colegio Fiscal del cantón Chambo.

Abstract

This research has the main objective of applying Mathematical software for the teaching and learning improvement of Mathematic teachers at High School, in the Chambo Public High School, in the scholar year 2021-2022. The use of IT in the area of mathematics is unusual due to the lack of teacher training, therefore the present research helps the teaching- learning process through the Mathematica software. This research had a qualitative approach, and it has got a descriptive scope, its design is not experimental, but documental instead. The sample was made of 2 high school mathematic teachers and 159 students who were properly enrolled and officially registered on the last three years of high school 1 BGU, classes: A, B, C, D y E, 2 BGU, class B during the academic year 2021 - 2022, in the Public High School Canton Chambo, the used technique was the test and the instrument the questionnaire, these instruments had the characteristics of validity and reliability for data collection required by the research. The results obtained through the didactic strategy, after the second evaluation had a considerable improvement with respect to the first one, besides there was an increase in the number of students that got a score higher than 8,99 points on the second evaluation. As a conclusion it could be said that Mathematic teachers improved their teaching didactics based on the training provided and therefore the students also improved their overall performance as a result of learning Mathematics efficiently.
