Abstract

Most of the producers in the parish of El Triunfo do not have associations or companies dedicated to acquire their production, so they distribute their raw material to intermediaries who pay them prices below the estimated, also most of the producers do not have the necessary resources to produce and much less market the product on a profitable scale, Therefore, the objective of this degree work was to carry out a feasibility project for the production and commercialization of guayusa tea in the parish of El Triunfo, Pastaza canton, Pastaza province, year 2022, in order to determine the productive, technical, administrative, legal and financial feasibility of the project. A mixed approach methodology was used since the necessary data was selected through surveys to producers and consumers, as well as an interview with the coordinator of the Wiñak association, using the inductive- deductive method, tools that allowed making the best decisions in the collection of information. Once the main variables were determined, the proposal was structured based on a financial study where the feasibility and profitability of the project were determined, a positive NPV of $ 178,847.11 was established and an IRR of 28.38% higher than the discount rate. Thus, it is recommended to implement this project for the production and marketing of guayusa tea, which will provide reliability and profitability for investors, and will also boost the dynamism of the economy in the parish and generate sources of employment.
