Abstract

The "Proposal of a logistic model for “Industria Maderera Buenaño Riobamba" had the objective of elaborating a strategy management model to improve its logistics through the application of processes that the company executes in the company. The development of the research, methods, techniques, and instruments were applied, such as an interview with the general manager and surveys directed to the clients where it was determined that at present this industry has an ambiguous logistic process, which generates certain deficiencies to efficiently carry out its functions in the market. The application of these tools was essential to determine the creation of a well-organized organic structure with each of the areas through a functions manual so that the staff can fully comply with the business activities through the processes and procedures detailed on the basis of the daily activities. Therefore, the application of the procedure for the implementation of a model consists of developing the job description of each of the departments that have the organizational chart and in which the responsibilities and the professional profile are indicated for the respective application of the control system in the inventory whose main objective will be to have a more organized administration of the resources that the company has. It is recommended to the owner of the company to socialize with the collaborators the processes that have the logistic model together with the flow charts that indicate the activities to be carried out in each process so that the strategies that were detailed are executed in the time that is indicated in the chronogram and in this way they can make the best decisions.
