Estudio de factibilidad para crear operadoras de transporte terrestre comercial, modalidad de carga mixta en el cantón Chambo, provincia de Chimborazo, período 2022.

Abstract

The objective was to prepare a feasibility study to create new commercial land transport operators, mixed cargo modality in the Chambo canton, period 2022. The Chambo canton has an area of ​​163.7 km2, is made up of 13,378 inhabitants of which 9,240 make up the Economically Active Population (EAP), it was extremely important to carry out the study of land transport needs for mixed cargo in the Chambo canton. It is evident that there is a commercial transport operator of mixed cargo that provides the service, it is made up of a vehicle fleet of 10 units, which becomes insufficient to satisfy the need to mobilize in an adequate way. With the results obtained in the study it was possible to identify the supply, demand, interference and financial viability to create new operators. With the indices obtained, it was identified that the average cost of transporting mixed cargo per Km traveled per passenger is $0.001 and cargo $0.003, and that the values ​​received for the provision of the service are $20,580.00 per month. The cost - benefit is very attractive and therefore highly profitable. With the study, it was identified that there is no interference with the current operator that provides the mixed cargo transport service, nor with the operators of the different modalities. that the Canton has. Taking into account that the supply of the service is 1701 and the demand is 2605, so the study is feasible. According to the financial indices, the project to create a mixed cargo commercial transport operator in the Chambo canton, Chimborazo province generates complete confidence.
