Diseño de un sistema de inventarios aplicando el método ABC para almacenes Unihogar, de la cuidad de Riobamba, provincia de Chimborazo

Abstract

Almacenes Unihogar does not have an inventory system that helps with a documented control of the delivery, receipt and return of materials and tools, this has caused a high risk of fraud, theft or physical damage to the items that the store sells, therefore, the objective of the research work was to design an inventory system using the ABC method for Unihogar stores in Riobamba city of Chimborazo province, which allows the proper management of their merchandise and adequate decision making with efficiency. The methodology implemented had a mixed approach; the levels of research applied were exploratory and descriptive; a non-experimental design of transversal type was used since the variables studied are not altered; the population under study was the warehouse personnel, being fundamental the application of a documented and field research to get the respective information through methods, techniques and instruments, among which were the survey applied to the warehouse personnel and the interview applied to the warehouse manager. Through this methodology, it was determined that the warehouse does not have an inventory system, having a poor management due to the bad management process of these inventories not being optimal, this prevents the identification of the inputs and outputs that are made from the warehouse
