Abstract

The objective of the study is to design a set of financial strategies through the formulation of a diagnosis of the integral situation of the company Inpapel Patria Cía. Ltda. to improve timely decision-making at the management level. The research was conducted through a mixed approach (quantitative and qualitative), with a descriptive and transversal type of study, with the support of a field study made with 32 people represented by owners, managers, officers and employees of the company, with the support of bibliographic and documentary exploration, reviewing material from indexed journals based on Scielo, Latindex and internal documents of the company. The results show that the company does not conduct true financial planning, which considers positive management indicators that allow reaching levels of liquidity, efficiency, profitability and indebtedness, by the volumes of investment, costs and expenses; which prevents making managerial decisions in a timely and reliable manner to achieve real and favourable results for the company. It is therefore concluded that financial strategies are important tools in business management, which should be applied and executed, to achieve profitability and profitability levels by the investments made.
