Plan de salvaguardia del patrimonio cultural inmaterial de la celebración de semana santa en la Iglesia la Inmaculada Concepción, cantón Riobamba, provincia de Chimborazo

Abstract

The purpose of this work was to design a plan to safeguard the intangible cultural heritage of the Holy Week celebration in La Inmaculada Concepción church, Riobamba canton, Chimborazo province. The execution of the research was developed in three stages: a historical study if both the church and the monastery of La Inmaculada Concepción was conducted and intangible cultural heritage of the Holy Week celebration was recorded by collecting information through interviews with key actors, then the information was systematized in the INPC registration from; in the second stage, the state of vulnerability of the intangible cultural heritage was determined based on three criteria: Transmission, memory and indent and finally in the third stage the philosophical, strategic and operational approach of the safeguarding plan was formulated. In addition, the philosophical-strategic approach was broken down into three moments: The analytical phase involved the development of the SWOT matrix, identification and prioritization of critical nodes and key success factors, stakeholder analysis and stakeholder mapping; the philosophical phase involved the formulation of the mission and vision; the strategic phase involved the formulation of the strategic objectives, strategies, programs, and projects; and the operational phase involved the development of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for the programs. The results obtained were: 20 cultural manifestations were recorded, of which 10 are vulnerable and 10 are in force; 10 critical nodes and 18 key success factors were prioritized, which made possible to establish 3 programs and 3 projects with an estimated investment of US$43,075.00.
