Diseño de un plan de mejoramiento turístico para el aprovechamiento de los recursos naturales y culturales del centro etnobotánico Ñucanchi Sacha Causay perteneciente al cantón Francisco de Orellana

Abstract

This work was developed with the purpose of designing a tourism improvement plan (TIP) to take advantage of the natural and cultural resources of the Ñucanchi Sacha Causay ethnobotanical center in Francisco de Orellana, El Coca. The objective was to design a PMT through a diagnosis that allows to know and evaluate the tourist service offered, and to identify possible weaknesses in the provision of the service and infrastructure in order to achieve significant changes in the enterprise. The research had a qualitative and quantitative approach, with a non- experimental design, the type of research was documentary, field and ethnographic. In addition, instruments were used, such as: interviews with the owners of the center and the technicians of the tourism department, to know how the center is linked to the governmental part, as well as observation cards were used to correctly identify the deficiencies it presents. Statistical processes were used in Excel software, which helped in the analysis and interpretation of the results. After carrying out the study, a design adapted to reality was established to correctly delimit the tourism development of the enterprise. Finally, the propositional framework was developed with TIP, defining the business philosophy, plans, projects, schedule and a budget to be applied, in addition to a virtual model of the final result. It is concluded that having a TIP will allow the Ñucanchi Sacha Causay center to have a tourism development based on the improvement of both service and infrastructure, to lead to an efficient and effective tourism management, in such a way that it becomes known as an important attraction at the local and national level.
