Desarrollo de una aplicación web para el diagnóstico de enfermedades por malnutrición en el consultorio Medical Slim Center.

Abstract

he objective of this Curriculum Integration Project was the development of a web application with a virtual assistant for the diagnosis of malnutrition diseases in the Medical Slim Center. We utilized the SCRUM methodology in order to achieve this objective. The following methods were applied: deductive, analytical, synthetic and observation to know the process used by the nutritionist in the medical center for the management of nutritional plans, defining the modules for the management of patients, nutritionists, food with their respective nutritional content, appointments, nutritional plans and the development of a virtual assistant for customer service. We utilized the model view controller architecture for the construction of the web application, the Bootstrap framework was utilized for the development of the front end and we utilized the PHP language and the laravel web framework for the Back-End, for the database the MySQL manager was utilized. We utilized the sub characteristics of the ISO/IEC 25010 standard for the web system usability study, utilizing the SUS (System Usability Scale) and SUMI (Software Usability Measurement Inventory) tools, generating a combined questionnaire of 30 questions that was applied to 10 patients and 6 nutritionists. As results, a 92% level of usability of the web application was obtained with a confidence level of 95%, determining that the means of each of the established sub characteristics do not differ significantly. Concluding that each of the requirements were completed with a very satisfactory degree on the side of the client. It is recommended to follow the instructions of the developers for the correct use of the system by both patients and nutritionists.
