Abstract

In the Totorillas community, Matriz parish, Guamote canton, there are no livestock or agricultural production companies, consequently, there is a need to strengthen the ancestral forms of community work in the face of the modern challenges of current production. Therefore, this degree work aims to implement a poultry farm for egg production in the Guamote canton that links the cultural forms of community work and the concepts of biosecurity, which in turn implies ecological and modern production. The methodology began by stating the central problem, analyzing the PROBLEM TREE, followed by the baseline and goal line of the project, for the market study, surveys were used with a sample of 928 families from the city of Guayaquil, finding an unsatisfied demand. of 26,974.23 tons of eggs, and identifying that 61% (demand) does support the project, in the project engineering the size of the undertaking to be implemented will be 564 tons of eggs per year, in relation to the legal environment it was established that The company will be private called LEMA, finally, a financial study was carried out achieving an IRR of 66%, NPV of 420,525.99 dollars, Benefit Cost ratio of 1.10 dollars, with the investment recovery time being 6.5 years. Through this methodology it can be concluded that the project will help the socioeconomic growth of the community through the participation of native youth, thus creating a balance between genetic innovation and cultural wealth, it will also contribute to reducing the percentage of migration in the native population, generating job opportunities. In this context, the prompt execution of the project is recommended since the financial indicators support the viability of the project, and search for additional suppliers to expand the resource options necessary for production.
