| Abstract : | The present work Construction and Implementation of a didactic bank of the differential system with its maintenance plan for the School of Automotive Engineering of ESPOCH, aims to reinforce the students' knowledge regarding the system of transmission of movement from the Internal combustion engine to the drive wheels. The didactic bank has a later transmission bridge which in turn houses the conical group, differential mechanism, and the brake system; For the visualization of the operation of the differential mechanism the back cover of the rear bridge of a transparent acrylic material has been placed; We also built a control panel through which we can have the control of each and every component of the didactic bank, in the lower part of the panel installed two totally independent brake systems the same as when they are shown clearly The behavior of the differential mechanism when a vehicle is traveling in a straight or curved path. The teaching bench has been built, which will give us the possibility of clearly observing the operation of the differential system and brake system as it occurs in the vehicle, when it has a front engine and a rear transmission. We recommend that safety and maintenance rules be taken into account in order to avoid accidents and incidents, while at the same time seeking to extend the life of the equipment, obtaining a greater benefit for the School of Automotive Engineering. |
| Resumen : | El presente trabajo Construcción e Implementación de un Banco didáctico del sistema diferencial con su plan de mantenimiento para la Escuela de Ingeniería Automotriz de la ESPOCH, tiene por objetivo reforzar el conocimiento de los estudiantes en lo que se refiere al sistema de transmisión de movimiento desde el motor de combustión interna hacia las ruedas motrices. El banco didáctico posee un puente de transmisión posterior que a su vez aloja en sí al grupo cónico, mecanismo diferencial, y el sistema de frenos; para la visualización del funcionamiento del mecanismo diferencial se ha colocado la tapa posterior del puente trasero de un material acrílico transparente; también se construyó un panel de control mediante el cual podemos tener el mando de todos y cada uno de los componentes del banco didáctico, en la parte inferior del panel se instalaron dos sistemas de freno totalmente independientes los mismos que al ser accionados muestran de manera clara el comportamiento del mecanismo diferencial cuando un vehículo se desplaza en una trayectoria recta o curva. Se ha construido el banco didáctico, que nos brindará la posibilidad de observar de manera clara el funcionmiento del sistema diferencial y sistema de frenos tal como se da en el vehículo, cuando este posee un motor delantero y transmisión posterior. Recomendamos tomar muy en cuenta las normas de seguridad y mantenimiento a fin de evitar accidentes e incidentes, al mismo tiempo que se busca alargar la vida útil del equipoobteniendo un mayor beneficio para la Escuela de Ingeniería Automotriz. |
