Empleo de dietas con diferentes niveles de proteínas más aminoácidos esenciales y semiesenciales en las fases inicial, crecimiento y acabado en pavos hybrid

Abstract

The diet effect with different levels of protein pluss essential and semi essential amino acids as compared to a control treatment (without adding synthetic amino acids) was evaluated the Poultry Unit, Animal Science Faculty belonging to Escuela Superior Politécnica de Chimborazo, Canton Riobamba. 100 hybrid turkeys were used during the following stages: brooding (28, 26, 24 and 22% of protein), growing | (26, 24, 22 and 20% of protein), growing Il (22, 20, 18 and 16% of protein) and finishing (19, 17, 15 and 13% of protein) distributed under a completely randomized design with four treatments and 5 replicates. The turkeys fed with 22% of protein during the brooding stage got a better final weight and weight gain (831.40 g and 761.53 g); in the growing I stage, the turkeys treated with 20% of protein got the best final weight and weight gain values ​​(3865.53 g and 3034.13 g); in the growing stage, the treatment with 22% of protein got the best results in the final weight and weight gain with 7967.80 g and 4370.60 g. Finally, in the finishing stage, the poultry fed with 19% of protein registered higher weight gain (5646.13 g), final weight (13613.93 g), carcass weight (13327.50 g) and carcass yield (83.75 %). The best profit was gotten with a cost / benefit rate of $ 1.27 USD in the control treatment. Therefore, it is recommended to use 22% of protein during the brooding stage, 20% in growing I stage, 22% in growing II stage and 19% in the finishing stage since a better production was observed with this feeding.
