Evaluación de la aplicación de la guía para la recepción y almacenamiento de medicamentos e insumos médicos para el área de bodega del Hospital Provincial General Docente de Riobamba 2014

Abstract

The application of the guide was evaluated for the receipt and storage of medicines issued by the Department of Public Health of the Ecuador (MSP), in December, 2009, which describes activities, since: Administrative and Technical receipt, Revenue and Location, Storage, Control of Inventories and Distribution, same that is of obligatory application in the whole network of health, reason that it motivated to raisi ng the present investigation, with the intention of evaluating the degree of application of the Guide in the Provincial General Docente Riobamba Hospital, on the basis of three parameters: Medicines and inputs that entered to the area of the warehouse of t he Hospital; Knowledge of the existence and application of the Guide on the part of the personnel that works in the Area, and Satisfaction of users / aces to whom the service is offered to them. For which there were applied as input the Annexes of the Gui de, surveys of knowledge and satisfaction. The breach of the application of the Guide is notable, the reasons are multiple, since not possessing Human Talent to end to the area, infrastructure itself that is insufficient is shared by the general warehouse, breaks with procedure of storage and labeling, free traffic does not exist between racks and pallets. By means of the study the breach was identified on the Instructive one to prepare general inventory Consolidated of needs of medicines for programs. Ther e is not applied Record of cleanliness of warehouse, a service uses tercerizado, It Registered of Training and of accidents, presented breach of 100 % in the Procedure of Security. It is necessary to provide an exclusive warehouse for the storage of medici nes and medical inputs with all the suitable conditions so much infrastructure, materials and instruments to support the quality of the same ones and to assign a Pharmaceutical Biochemist, who realizes the Technical as Administrative Procedures in the ware house.
