Implementación de un banco de análisis instrumental y elaboración de un manual de calidad bajo la norma ISO/IEC 17025 para el laboratorio de metrología en la facultad de mecánica de la ESPOCH en la ciudad de Riobamba

Abstract

The implementation of an instrumental portfolio analysis and the development of a quality manual in the Metrology Laboratory from Mechanic Faculty at ESPOCH, according to the International Organization for Standardization (ISO)/International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) 17015:2005, it aims to qualify with the Ecuadorian certification service, allowing for increased efficiency to create, manage and maintain procedures for a future certification audit. The documents created under the terms determined by the legislation was established according to the compatibility of the laboratory with ISO/IEC 17025, using as tool, the general checklist of compliance with the certification criteria provided by the Service Ecuadorian Certification from testing laboratories, getting 71% of documents that must be created, and 19% not applicable. The quality manual represents the first level from the quality system which support the procedures and records responsible for generating evidence, the second and third represent the documents level of the organization respectively. The documents developed in the laboratory establishes responsible both for modification and maintenance, in order to avoid defaults set by regulations that withdrawal the certification. It is recommended to apply this quality manual with their details and train to the laboratory staff about regulations and benefits, activity that can be assigned to quality manager at the Mechanic Faculty designated by the Assessment Committee and quality Assurance Career.
