Abstract

The use of different levels of Sacha Inchi (Plukenetia volubilis) seeds did not influence statistically on the biological behavior of the guinea pig, because superiority is seen in the results of the control treatment. Older final weights (1033.13 g); feed conversion (5.78 points); carcass weight (728.35 g) and carcass yield (70.50%) they were reported in the control treatment of guinea pigs as they beat all treatments. For the variable consumption of food of guinea pigs, highly significant differences were observed due to the inclusion of different levels of Sacha Inchi, the highest total consumption with the control treatment and T3, with 5552.38 and 5556.00 g in order, it can be because of the fatty acids that Sacha Inchi has, it improves palatability and obviously it also produces higher consumptions. The higher profitability of production of guinea pigs, was achieved in the control treatment, that reached a benefit / cost of 1.53; it represents that for each invested dollar it has a cost effectiveness of 53% (0,53 dollars).
