Efecto del humus y la altura de corte en la producción primaria y composición bromatológica de la Brachiaria brizantha en la provincia de Napo en la finca Tres Hermanos

Abstract

In the farm “Three Brothers” Napo-Ecuador, three levels of humus was assessed (4, 6, 8Tn-1/ha-1), and differrent heights of cutttig-1 (5, 10, 15 cm), and a witness, in the production of Brachiaria brizantha, in two consecutive cuts, the research was an area of 720 m² set 36 experimental units, consisting of 20 m² (5 x 4 meters),and three repetitions; being evaluated under Randon Complement Block Desing (RCBD) with two sorting criteria (dose of humus and cutting heights). The best productive performance in the first assessment ocurred when 8Tn-1/ha-1 of the humus (T3) were included, reaching the fastest time of ocurrence to 57,8 days; grearter height 63,11 cm; production of green forage and dry matter (66,19 y 24,85 Tn-1/ha-1/cut1); thus, in the second evaluation the best answer were 56,08%; 62,56 cm and 23,26 Tn-1/ha-1/cut1 for basal cover, plant height, and dry matter production, in that order. Based on the analysis of cutting heights the highest permorfance in the first and second assessment were 10 cm aerial coverage of 87,20 and 86,81% and dry matter production of 24,77 and 25,27 Tn-1/ha-1/cut1 respectively. Regarding the economic analysis a profitability of 1.90 and 1.84 USD for the first and second evaluation respectively obtained; therefore it is recommended to use 8Tn-1/ha-1/cut1 to a height of 10 cm, because it presents the best productive performance.
