Utilización de minerales orgánicos (Selplex y bioplex) en carneros de la Estación Experimental Tunshi

Abstract

In the Academic Unit of Research and sheep and goat production at the FCP (Faculty of Animal Sciences) from ESPOCH it was evaluated the inclusion of two organic minerals (Bioplex and Selplex) in sheep feeding compared to a control treatment. In order to conduct this research an amount of four repetitions was taken with an overall of twelve experimental units treated under a fully simple randomized simple design. Statistical evaluation of the parameters determined the highest outcomes when adding Bioplex (T2) to the diet, regarding to final weight (79.54 kg), weight (21.34 kg), food total consumption (116.58 kg), and, more over; lower food conversion (5.55).The most efficient results when adding Selplex (T1) to the diet, in terms of height at the withers (75,50 cm),body length (80 cm), head length (25,50 cm), rump height (74 cm), cannon perimeter (11,50 cm).The zoometric variables of thoracic perimeter (99,25 cm, chest width (23,50 cm), hip width (28,25 cm), and wither length (27,25 cm), which were more elevated when using Bioplex (T2).The economic projection determines that the rams slaughtering will make possible to get the highest results when using Bioplex (T2), since the relationship cost-benefit reveals a nominal value of 1.22,which means that per every dollar invested it is expected to get a profit of 22 cents of dollar, which results attractive, even more, taking into account the fact that a sheep is a rustic animal.
