Implementación del servicio Antispam Email Gateway en la infraestructura de comunicación del GADPCH.

Abstract

This investigation objective is to implement the Antispam Email Gateway service in the communication infrastructure of Decentralized Autonomous Government of Chimborazo province (GADPCH) in order to protect the email server of Spam excess. The current communication infrastructure was analyzed before implementing of Antispam service in order to determine the conditions of the service offered by the mail server. Two choices Antispam Email Gateway were evaluated and Scrollout F1 Email Gateway with license GNU and the platform McAfee Email Gateway with business license where a benchmark was carried out by means of the use of comparative method, based on the Norm ISO/IEC 25000 which consisted on determining the quality of the Antispam platforms by simile between two choices which were being studied, establishing seven characteristics with sub characteristics that got scores to determine the best choice for its implementation in this institution. The results gotten were excellent with an effectiveness of 90,87% of control Spam. It is concluded that Scrollout F1 Email Gateway met with the prospects of the investigation by solving the problem of the spam in the communication infrastructure and protected the server mail. It is recommended to use Scrollout F1 Email Gateway as Antispam choice because it is a tool with license GNU which will not have additional expenditures to the institution and offer a high level of quality and precision of Spam control.
