Abstract

The present study designed a strategy of educational intervention on hormone anti-contraception in uncontrolled fertile age women of the Community Mercedes Cadena from January to June , belonging to the Guamote canton. Its objective was designing an educational intervention strategy on hormone anti-contraception in uncontrolled fertile-age women from 15 to 49. A descriptive —correlational cross-sectioned study was carried out. The study population was the universe of 101 women. The data were collected through interview. The statistical pack. SPSS ,version 21 with the Chi-Square (X2) was used to determine the relationship and significant differences between the study variables with 0.05 significance level. The predominant group was from 35 to 39 with 29.7% (30) women with no pregnancy with 38.6 %, primary instruction 54.4% (55), working occupation 62.4( 63). The 52.5% (53) had a background of anti-contraceptive method use. A non-satisfactory knowledge over the hormone anti-contraceptive predominated with an 87.1 % (88) .A statistically significant difference was found between hormone anti-contraception knowledge and instruction level with (p=0.003 and between the hormone anti-contraception and use background with (p=0.034). The anti-contraception hormone knowledge is not satisfactory in fertile-age women; this is why, the educational intervention strategy design is required which will contribute to increase the knowledge on the theme. The proposed strategy is opportune and pertinent . The District Colta -Guamote 06D04 and the Nested Center of the Guamote Hospital are recommended to implement the scientific investigation .
