Elaboración e implementación de procedimientos de mantenimiento programado para la maquinaria de taller de CAD - CAM de la Facultad de Mecánica de la ESPOCH.

Abstract

The CAD-CAM workshop of the Faculty of Mechanics of the ESPOCH currently has a variety of high-tech equipment assisted by computer for manufacturing processes. However, the workshop machinery operates without preventive maintenance procedures, nor does it keep track of activities related to repairs and costs, thus shortening the useful life of the workshop. For this reason the need to elaborate the present project from a plan of location of equipment and machinery, from which its technical specifications was detailed and its current technical state was evaluated. Maintenance activities were then created using the method based on the manufacturer's instructions. With these activities, the maintenance plan was carried out by means of the design of software with the ability to automatically reprogram the schedule of activities and keep a record of compliance with them. Finally, a list of the operations to be followed for the correct execution of each activity was made, it was specified together the materials, tools, personal protection equipment and costs involved in the work. With the implementation of this project an efficient maintenance control and management system was obtained, it is able to carry the appropriate documentation for its respective records, thus guaranteeing the good state of the machinery and a normal academic-practical development of the CAD-CAM workshop. Therefore, it is recommended that a maintenance technician be hired by the institution to comply with the procedures established in this project.
