Evaluación patrimonial de las terrazas de Joyaczhí mediante sistemas de teledetección para la determinación de su funcionalidad tecnológica

Abstract

The present research proposes to elaborate a patrimonial evaluation of the terraces of Joyaczhí using systems of remote sensing for the determination of its technological functionality. It will help through four steps such us delimiting the archaeological site, by biophysically characterizing the terraces, analyzing and processing satellite images and by predicting the functionality of the archeological terraces. To delineate the reservoir, by the descriptive method, was used the analysis of the orthophotographs. Also, to record the deposit in the National Institute for patrimonial goods, INPC for the Spanish initials provided the instruction sheets were used. To biophysically characterize the reservoir ArcGIS 10.3 software was employed in the mapping of the same component. The ortho photographies of the Rapideye and Landsat 8 satellite systems were downloaded. Exel 2016 software was used to analyze and process the satellite images and for the prediction of the functionality and statistical analysis. Thus, were delimiting seven sectors that present structural modifications similar to terraces. Then, the main biophysical components were diagnosed. The land cover, climatic factors, water, fragile ecosystems, degraded natural resources, threats, vulnerability and risks, vegetation indexes were also established, showing that the terraces of the gardens have herbaceous and shrub cover. Regarding soil moisture indexes, they have an average humidity, soil erosion is not very vulnerable, in geology, there are few areas without vegetation, and soil temperature with a range of 16 ° C to 26 ° C, the prediction of the technological functionality of the site is that it is agroecological. It is concluded that the terraces of Joyaczhi were structures modified for agroecological functionality.
