Abstract

The objetive was to determine the impact of the interactive Digital Whiteboard in the significant learning of the students of the Second Year of High School in the área of Technical Drawing, applying the software AutoCAD, to improve the teaching education quality of this subject of the Fiscal Education Unit “Nizag”. Nizag Community, Alausí Canton, Chimborazo Province. In the institution´s computer lab, Digital Interactive Whiteboard (DIW) was calibrated; AutoCAD software and printer were installed. A survey and direct observation was used for data collection. The evaluation of the scores of the students of group 1 who did not use the the PDI and of the group 2 who used the PDI and the software AutoCAD, which gave the final averages of the works realized of the group 1 of a note of 7.03 and of the Group 2 of a note of 8.3, thus giving the results of the hypothesis, the calculated t= 3.825 andd the P-value is = 0.00019, the p-value is less tan 0.05 that is tos ay we accept the alternative hypothesis, Concluding that if it is posible to deal with the subject of Technical Drawing with the PDI and the software AutoCAD since it allows a reinforcement and better learning of the contents of the Second Quimester of the sixth block of the subject of the Technical Drawing. It is recommended to design the learning modules for the teaching of Technical Drawing with the application of the PDI and the software AutoCAD, in the second year of baccalaureate of the Fiscal Education Unit Nizag.
