Evaluación del manejo ambiental para la Unidad Académica de Especies Menores de la FCP-ESPOCH.

Abstract

In the research entitled “Evaluation of the environmental management for the research academic unit of minor species at FCP-ESPOCH" developed in the Chimborazo Province, Riobamba Canton, where an Environmental Management Plan for the research academic unit of minor species was evaluated there were not considered experimental treatments, it corresponds to the analysis of descriptive statistics about liquid residues and the surrounding soil where it was determined that: the analysis of the waters of the affluents report a DBO5 of 3.00 mg / L; rising to the exit with an average of 1779.25 mg /L; the DQO was 6.25 mg / L same that rises to 3080.75 mg / L; the ST of the affluent were 575.75 mg / L, increasing the effluent with an average of 3584.50 mg / L; the pH of 7.35 to 8.21; nitrites concentration from 0.01 mg / kg to 2.51 mg / kg and finally nitrates of 9.70 mg / kg an average of the effluent of 31.75 mg / kg, exceeding the allowable limits according to the current environmental regulations. In the physical-chemical analysis of the soil, a conductivity of 105.39 and 103.90 μS / cm was determined in the interior as well as in the distance, the pH recorded was 7.20 and 7.11 being classified as a neutral soil it does not exceed the permissible limits according to environmental regulations. Through the development of the Leopold matrix, it was determined that it generates 13 positive impacts with an equivalent of 41.94% and 18 negative impacts equivalent to 58.06%, due to the inadequate management of waste water, wich generates bad odors causing effects on the animal and human health.
