Análisis técnico para la implementación de IPTV en la red de acceso de banda ancha de CNT EP de la ciudad de Riobamba.

Abstract

The present research had as objective to carry out a technical analysis for the implementation of television by Internet protocol (IPTV) in the network of accesses of broadband of the National Corporation of Communications CNT EP of the city of Riobamba. The scientific method was used to carry out the technical analysis, and the intentional sampling of 10% of the total sample (215 clients), equivalent to 22 clients, to whom the different electrical measurements were recorded in the test protocols, Using the indicators and instruments to accomplish the proposed objectives. According to the results obtained, it is concluded that 86% of the clients that were part of the sample for the analysis accomplishes with the favorable technical parameters for the implementation of the IPTV technology, while the remaining 14% has deficiencies in the tests performed which will have as a consequence the lost packets when the service is transmitted. To test the hypothesis we used the Chi square method with a significance level of 0.05, obtaining a value of x xvi 2 = 88.02 a higher value to the distribution table, therefore, we accept the hypothesis proposed in this research. Therefore, it is concluded that the implementation of the IPTV service through the CNT access network is feasible and the implementation of telecommunication networks is recommended through new technology such as the passive optical network with gigabit capacity (GPON) to provide state-of-the-art services to its customers.
