Plan de salvaguardia del patrimonio cultural inmaterial de la parroquia Sevilla, cantón Alausí, provincia de Chimborazo

Abstract

The present investigation proposes: to design a plan to safeguard the intangible cultural heritage of the Sevilla parish, Alausí canton, Chimborazo province; as a mechanism of rescue of the inmaterial manifestations present in the inhabitants of the locality by means of the formulation of strategies that guarantee the transmission, diffusion, revitalization and investigation of these manifestations. It began with the analysis of the six territorial areas proposed by the National Secretary of Planning and Development to determine the actual situation of the locality, after which the inventory of the intangible cultural heritage was made, identifying 53 manifestations, this was complemented with the evaluation of the parameters of registration or inventory proposed by the National Institute of Cultural Heritage, these are: trasmission community recognition, social sense, respect for human rights, collective rights and rights of nature. The FODA analysis was carried out consecutively, critical nodes were identified, key factors of success, strategic objectives, and strategies, to finally establish 6 programs and 10 projects that align with the guiding principles of the safeguard and it is oriented to protect the cultural heritage inmaterial and to boost the local economy through the implementation of a Cultural Interpretation Center. It is concluded that Sevilla parish has great intangible cultural wealth bur lacks basic services, which is necessary to improve it.
