Proyecto de Factibilidad para la creación de una Empresa procesadora de leche en el cantón Alausí, provincia de Chimborazo

Abstract

In our country there are many inequalities: the lack of jobs, government inattention, migration, especially in parishes and communities of the various provinces, the Canton Alausí has been no exception where the majority indigenous population has inherited several problems: lack opportunities, low education and ability to entrepreneurship. The Canton Alausí is characterized by large areas of land dedicated to agriculture and livestock, because climate conducive to these activities making possible the creation of a milk processing company to strengthen the local economy. The activities undertaken for this project began with the analysis of the problem and objectives which justify the project, an analysis of the market situation through surveys that demonstrated the existence of unmet demand for 12,491,809 liters per year was made and product acceptance in the locality. The technical study that determined the plant capacity of 1,478,400 liters per year, locating in the Community of Totoras parish Achupallas and engineering project where the milk processing company will operate. Project indicators reflect positive indexes, through viable internal rete return (TIR=27, 75%), positive benefit-cost ratio (B/C= 1, 40), with a period of less than two years recovery, demonstrating project feasibility. It was proved that the project feasibility for the establishment of a milk processing company in the Canton Alausí Province of Chimborazo is feasible.
