Evaluar la influencia del número de partos en los parámetros productivos y reproductivos de la Granja Porcina “Buenos Aires”. año 2016.

Abstract

In Santa Elena province, Santa Elena (canton), in the porcine farm "Buenos Aires" in the Corporation Fernández, the effect of the number of deliveries in the sow of the pig line was evaluated in relation to the productive and reproductive parameters during the year 2016. This hard 60 days, a Completely Random Design (DCA), was applied, with six treatments and 195 repetitions. When observing the results of the analysis of the performance of the piglet’s partode, it was found greater prolificacy in terms of the number of total piglets for sows of third parturition with 13.93 total births the greater number of live born piglets with 12.95 in the second parturition. The weaning performance was analyzed 21 days, we found greater number and greater weight of weaned piglets per litter (LDC), in calving three with 11.85 LDC and 71.02 kg of weight. The greatest benefit was determined by treatment III (third delivery) and a benefit-cost ratio of 1.36 was obtained, that is, for every dollar invested there is a return of 36 cents. When evaluating the influence of the number of births in the sows, it will help to make decisions and choose management practices that allow increasing the number of live born and weaned piglets, this implies keeping a systematic record of their operations, making the respective analyzes, as well as your evaluations; aspects that will allow to improve the productivity during the productive life of the sows.
