| dc.description | La presente investigación busca: Inventariar la Diversidad Florística en el Ecosistema Páramo Machay del Cantón Guano – Provincia de Chimborazo, se realizó salidas de campo para georreferenciar el sitio de estudio, instalar cinco parcelas transitorias de 25 m2 con 4 subparcelas de 1 m2, de las que se obtuvo el registró de datos para la identificación, cuantificación y análisis de la diversidad florística. En el inventario se registró: 40 muestras de plantas vasculares terrestres, correspondientes a 16 familias botánicas, 36 géneros y 40 especies, además se colectó una muestra de liquen y musgo de familia, género y especie no identificado lo que suma 42 muestras vegetales. El inventario permitió determinar que el musgo es la especie más representativa en todas las parcelas y cuadrantes. En parcela 1, la segunda especie predominante es Azorella pedunculata (Spreng.) Mathias & Constance de la familia Apiaceae debido a que se registraron 827 individuos. Parcela 2, la segunda especie es Gentiana sedifolia Kunth de la familia Gentianaceae misma que registra 84 individuos. Parcela tres, la segunda especie más representativa es Azorella pedunculata (Spreng.) Mathias & Constance de la familia Apiaceae la cual registró 256 individuos. Parcela cuatro, Azorella pedunculata (Spreng.) Mathias & Constance de la familia Apiaceae registró 267 individuos siendo la segunda especie más representativa de la parcela. Parcela cinco, la segunda y tercera especie más abundante son Azorella pedunculata (Spreng.) Mathias & Constance familia Apiaceae que registra 796 individuos y Gentiana sedifolia Kunth familia Gentianaceae que registra 578 individuos. De acuerdo al índice de Shannon, la parcela cinco posee diversidad alta que se corrobora con los resultados obtenidos del índice de Simpson, resultados que arrojaron valores altos en relación a las demás parcelas. Los resultados de Sorensen demuestran que las parcelas (P3 vs P5 y P1 vs P5) son muy similares entre sí. | dc.description.abstract | The objective of this research is to Inventory the Floristic Diversity in the Páramo Machay Ecosystem of the Guano canton, Chimborazo province. Field trips were made to georeference the study site, five transitory parcel of 25 m2 were installed with four subparcel of 1m2 from which the data record was obtained for the identification, quantification, and analysis of floristic diversity. The inventory recorded 40 samples of terrestrial vascular plants, corresponding to 16 botanical families, 36 genera and 40 species, in addition, a sample of lichen and moss of family, gender, and unidentified species was collected, which adds 42 plant samples. The inventory allowed determining that the moss is the most representative species in all the plots and quadrants. In plot 1, the second predominant species is Azorella pedunculata (Spreng). Mathias & Constance of the family Apiaceae, registered 827 individuals. Plot 2, the second predominant species is Gentiana sedifolia Kunth of the Gentianaceae family, 84 individuals were recorded.
