The aim of the present work of degree seeks to improve the aerodynamic loads generated by the flat bottom and diffuser of the vehicle of competition Fórmula SAE, to which it applies the methodology of analysis and compilation of information along about the guidelines allowed in the existing regulation of competition Fórmula SAE, in addition, compares the design parameters from previous jobs. Once studied variables are applicable to the simulation of the plane bottom and diffusers for the car SAE in the CAD software Solid works, Designed models that conform to the dimensions allowed by the regulation. These designs were analyzed in ANSYS WORKBENCH where a more detailed analysis of the aerodynamic loads generated, static, and dynamic behavior. For the construction is selected the compound of carbon fiber and resin Epofix 300 as main material due to the physical and mechanical properties which offers, this composite material allows you to reduce the weight of the pieces and to increase the resistance of the same. It took as their point of reference the aerodynamic analysis carried out in Fluid Flow of ANSYS (Fluent). The increase in the coefficient of lift and the decline of the drag coefficient of the plane bottom and diffusers made it possible to determine that the model generates greater effect on the floor and lower resistance to progress according to the aerodynamic results of the software. In addition, than this analysis was performed a static and dynamic analysis made it possible to determine if the material selected supports loads generated by the aerodynamics of the floor. The mechanical properties of matter were determined by tensile, flexural and impact made in the Centro of Fomento Carrocero. With the results of the tests described above was justified on the resilience of the composite material or the manufacturing process used for the construction of the flat bottom and the diffusers.es_ES
