Diseño de un sendero interpretativo en el sector noroeste de la Laguna de Colta, parroquia Santiago de Quito, cantón Colta.

Abstract

The present investigation proposes to design an interpretive trail in the northwest sector of the Colta lagoon, Santiago de Quito parish, Colta Canton; through exploratory, descriptive and prospective research methodologies that were carried out using bibliographic and field review techniques. The work was developed in three stages: the tourist system was analysis of the SWOT Matrix was carried out and the improvement actions for each one of the elements of the tourist system, later for the evaluation of the inteerpretative potential of the trail, in addition to the invetory of resources, then the Interpretive potential index was obtained through the multicriteria analysis, the visitor profile of the tourist-oriented path of the scenic Malecón de Laguna de Colta, using the survey as a survey instrument, the technical study of the trail was finally developed, complementing the conceptual design and signing design, the loading capacity of the trail was determined and the cost of the investment was analysed. It is concluded that the Kulta Ñan path has the adequate technical conditions to be interpreted.
