Análisis de la evolución de cartera de microcrédito, en la Cooperativa de Ahorro y Crédito Riobamba Ltda., provincia de Chimborazo, periodo 2015–2018

Abstract

The purpose of this research work is to analyze the evolution of the microcredit portfolio, in the “Cooperativa de Ahorro y Crédito Riobamba Ltda”., Chimborazo province, period 2015-2016, whose tool be able to verify which has been its evolution and how it has helped the growth of society and the institution. To carry out this work, some data was collected from the entity, and different research techniques and instruments were used, such as the surveys that were applied to credit agents; the type of qualitative and quantitative research since the balance sheets were analyzed, the results facilitated a credit risk analysis in which the weaknesses that affect the efficiency and effectiveness of the department are recorded. As a result of the investigation, it was determined that it lacks a portfolio recovery system, affecting the administration of the financial institution, as well as the processes of granting microcredits. Then, the project in which some feasible strategies, among other aspects that help the entity and therefore to make processes more efficient and effective, was carried out. Therefore, it is recommended select the design of an exclusive manual for the concession and treatment of the microcredit segment; This investment will be very beneficial to have a manual and an own score to qualify the microcredit subjects.
